I agree with you, and I find interesting to tell you how things evolve now ...The new system is not ready on time, people are probably not ready as well, and the one who is now kept apart is ... me (Information Manager without information; responsible of the internal communication for this project ...).
Realizing that, I felt first a little bit like these evangelists you talk about and who become very often kind of "martyrs".
Now, I feel better, I just think I would maybe better look for another job ?
