How can I not put my two cents in? I think Yogesh has made a pretty profound observation on knowledge. 'Knowledge is open to interpretation' is how I see it. A painting, for example, is very tacit in nature. There is a lot of unspoken feeling and ideas present in the brushstrokes. The Mona Lisa's smile is a supreme expression of tacit knowledge made explicit, but it can be simultaneously interpreted explicitly in an almost infinite number of ways. It also depends on the medium it is viewed in, ie if we see the smile from a purely renaissance or historical view, or a feminist view, or a craftsman's view, it may have different effects on the viewer.
