Hello Denham,
This may sound cynical, its not meant to be that way, but I have a question. From reading a lot of questions posted here it seems to me that:
a) people are being asked to investigate KM and apply it, having little or now knowledge of Km
b) People don't feel comfortable about saying "tell me what is KM" and need an anecdote to leverage the search for info
c) When people ask for help with their business it really means help with thesis
Which in itself is fair enough. The problem I see is that KM needs not only to create a better climate of responsibility (all round) but also of hinesty and the removal of the fear to be open and honest.
Have you done any research, practice or have any opinion on this (maybe slightly jaundiced) view.
Why doesn business see this issue i.e. KM as key, and then apparently and immediately down-play it?
Have been an avid reader of your comments on other forums by the way -- good stuff, keep it up please.
Best regards,
Martyn
