Hi Mike, I think we're on the same page, because basically 1mkm points out that tacit knowledge is really a function of the subconscious mind. But since the subconscious mind is not really accessible, we create an exercise that allows us to simulate both the conscious and subconscious minds in action. That's it really. Because my submission is 'how we think is how we manage knowledge'. So since this is how we think (conscious/subconscious) why not turn it into an exercise?
