Most f the tacit transfer of knowledge occurs with the use of metaphors. I am doing two day work shops using metaphor exercises to organize and transfer knowledge. It is a five step process of
1) Metaphor elicitation and domain population
2) Metaphor Interpretation
3) Metaphor Dissemination
4) Metaphor COllaboration
5) From metaphor to actionIt takes two days of intense eleicitation in these experiments to draw forth systemic knowledege. I am doingn this work at the Bank of Montreal in Toronto.
