Let me return to the ecological analogy.
How do we measure "knowledge fitness" those qualities that promote flexibility and ensure survival in the knowledge economy?
What are the "best" ways to accelerate knowledge flows, identify gaps, anticipate cognitive breakdowns (identify pathologies) and ensure continual learning and adaption
How can KE principles be intergrated into the tight rather rigid processes that guide most large concerns?
What are some KE practices?:
Building trust & understanding, sharing knowledge & meaning, enhancing learning, providing support for creativity / innovation?What is the unit of analysis in KE?:
Is it the individual (person / concept / symbol / object) or an aggregiate, the group (community of practice, meme, model, rite, ritual knowledge artifact)?. This seems important when you examine relationships, connectivity, flows or dynamics.
