The notion of 'ecology' has been gaining currency in various areas of business. Some of the more recent discussions in literature have focused on issues such as business ecosystems, economy as ecosystem and information ecology (see hyperlinks for more details).
Recently, one hears of an ecology of knowledge or knowledge ecology. What is your thinking about knowledge ecology? How does it relate to many of the threads already discussed on this forum? There seem to be some relations of the knowledge ecology theme and our earlier discussions such as the discussions on social construction of knowledge, subjective versus objective views of knowledge, knowledge sharing and trust, etc.
Further elucidation of such issues toward understanding "What is Knowledge Ecology?" are welcome.
