Denham

Past year I've started implementing KM in my business unit, and the conclusions I draw after the first successes (and failures, not everything worked), KM is about
bottum up and top down
Re-use and innovation?
Technology and people
Process and practice
Language and representation
social learning and knowledge portal

and besides all that, it is
small steps and giant leaps
balance and breakthrough change
focus and overall view
collection and distribution
nothing new and totally different
about groups and individuals
fantastic and horrible
necessary and a waste of time

but most of all:
one gains what one puts into it

In my unit, those who actively participated (is there any other way to participate then actively??) are those who have increased their knowledge most, and gained most of the benefits.

and now: Thank God it's friday!

Regards
Daan
