What a great question, a thought about it for quite a while before I realized that:

a) I didn't understand the question
b) I didn't fully understand the question
c) We might be looking at a return of the apprenticeship models - i.e. don't ask just do
d) I mistakenly saw the question as a catch 22
e) That the question resembled the classic "Where can I hear military music?", a classic oxymoron if ever I heard one

I guess that be making knowledge transferable we are making it somehow tacit, unless of course we wish to use a model where logic, reason and intelligence has to be suspended in order to learn - maybe we could call it the Tacit/Explicit Faith, Hope and Charity Knowledge Transfer Model for short :-)
