Your concept of feeding instead of emptying the tacit wellspring is clear, however isn't that why people form groups in the first place? Things that are left unsaid in the group are just momentarily incompatible ideas (unless you want polarization and war). I agree that not everything should be explicited, however imho that should be in reference to the real group, his background, a person appears from.
