Fully agree, Robert,However in the process we should be very careful about particular social structures. Reducing the higher functional structures of society and cultural groups to related objects calls for resistance. When the structures were built from individual and independent confirmation that will be negligible since new ones can be built just as easily. On the other hand, when they were formed by mechanisms of mimetics, dependent conformation, initiation rites, gatekeeping, groupsism etc. - then these group members are untouchables.
