Re: …people do not know enough about how to extract knowledge from situation and experiences. It seems to me particular in the society and cultural groups that it has been frowned upon the art of reflection and contemplation of ideas and philosophies.

Why would that be so?

  • Because in society and groups are just for canvassing.
  • Because situations and experience change so fast it is no use trying to extract knowledge from them.
  • Because the knowledge is merely polite (tacit/fuzzy) agreement.
  • Because the knowledge needs protection as an honorable code. For example not using God's name.
  • Because the knowledge needs protection as a dishonorable code. For example empowering the scapegoat mechanism (mimetics, prof. René Girard).
