I think it is very true that people do not know enough about how to extract knowledge from situation and experiences. It seems to me particular in the society and cultural groups that I have been part of that it has been frowned upon the art of reflection and contemplation of ideas and philoshophies. In essence I believe that within business we should foster a set of methodologies for ehnacing the employers members ability to and enjoyment knowledge extraction.
I am not sure how to do this as my area is really the smalller team environment as a facilitatiing structure rather than a company wide knowledge paradigm change as it were.
