I believe that e-business, e-commerce should ve embraced as an unique opportunity for utilising the km tools that have so long been so under used and misunderstood. Never has there been a greater need for coordination on such a scale . knowldeg bases and corporate intranets are the only way that large organisation will be able to make the transition to full e-business standing. Any organisation must achive total transparency form top to bottom . That is not to say that management layers should be cut out rather that moderators are needed to ensure that the flow of information does not lead to overflow. The logical progression would be that the layers of an organisation would be cut down but through an evolution of business understanding rather than incremental shifts in the organisation pardigm.
