Hi Ron
I am not in a position to discredit any type of sceintific method, or attempt to. What I am saying is that science, by neccesity, produces a formula of sorts to prove or disprove a matter.
It is not as simple in business, especially when we move into the non-recognized scientific arenas such as HR etc. This is what I am referring to as the gray world, or fuzzy if you wish. There could be mutliple answers to a single question, and all or none of those may be correct at the same time.
The KM point is how to distinguish the valuable answers from the rest? I believe this is possible via accurate contextualization, of which a lot has been said already on this forum. The KM nature is individualized. If we standardise it, and I belive this is possible, we could very well minimize the efficiency and benefits inherent in the the KM nature.
After much thinking on this matter, I am of the conclusion that most individuals and organizations would not be able to harness the true power of KM.
