Hi Jack
Your approach seems quite compatible with project marketing successes within organizations.
In my experience, most people have severe, if not extreme, difficulty in relating conceptual ideas through to practical conclusions. I have observed most people getting lost somewhere in between the conceptual and the practical.
As such, we end up discussing strategy with the strategic and operational (practical) with the operational, and never the twain should meet.
The ability to communicate the full spectrum (top to bottom and vice versa) to all employees remains a bit of a mystery. How often have you heard respondents saying: "It is over my head" or "There is too much detail."
My question is how to align the strategy to daily operations in such a way, as to retain everyone's attention? Can this be done? If not, then how could we hope to measure the success of the implementation of a strategy at operational level, and how could we hope to measure the impact of operational procedures on a particular strategy?
The questions are endless, but the challenge is real.Regards
