Hello:

I would agree with Mr. Munram. I would also add that most
strategies fail because the development of a
strategy usually fails to take into consideration
the views of the workers that are impacted the most.
A strategy that is developed and implemented by an
elite group of "strategists" in an organization usually
fail to consider the coal face views of its workforce.

Indeed there has to be a buy-in at all levels if a
strategy is to succeed at all. Often the strategy is
too theoritical and only loosely tied to the business
goals and objectives. For a strategy to have any
chance of success, the bottom line has to be taken
into consideration and the commitment of not only the
senior management but as well as the ordinary worker
bees.
