Hi Jasmine,
What a good direct question Jasmine. Well let me recommend one thing first. Try and understand the concept of bringing people together and to harness that into a shared commitment, a place where one looks for answers, a place were one can share thoughts and ideas, where innovation and learning takes place, it requires minds to work alone and also in groups. These are the softer issues of KM (only in part though). Then there are issues related to processes, to make things happen in systamatic manner, where common process are recorded and shared. Then there is the technology issue, where hopefully things are made easier, with use of Intranets and colloboration software...etc. All three elements can be viewed differently and acted uoon differently but must be done so in a unified manner. Technology alone will not bring you major benefits.
I suggest you read some more and formulate your own thoughts, KM is like a fingerprint, its unique to each organisation.
Regards
Dilip
