Greetings Bjarne,
I tend to think they both revolve around core competencies.
The only succesful eBusiness companies are those who have "virtualized" their core competences and incorporated the "eBusiness soul" into their core processes.
The same can be said for KM. The most effective KM projects are those where KM isn't treated as a separate process, but incorporated in the core business processes.
The difference in my opinion is that eBusiness is focused on deploying the core competencies on the internet, KM is focused on nurturing, innovating and reinventing the core competencies themselves and aligning the goals of the various stakeholders in an organization with the goals of the organizational entity itself.
Kind regards,
Kees de Vos.
