Greetings Zulkarnain,
If you look at the issue from another angle you may come to see awareness as the way to go. Most often the 'decay' of information and knowledge is due changes in the environment. A central practice within knowledge communities is to have 'hooks' into the market, to build relationships and alliances with thought leaders, to conduct business intelligence gathering. We allocate time and tasks to collecting and making sense of news, looking for early signs of significant changes and finding ways to remain flexible. When this intelligence gathering is shared within the community, existing knowledge gets updated almost as a by-product.
What do you think?
