I am particulalry intereste din your statement "..if you can't leverage your tacit knowledge is some obscure way (like sharing) you will not be in adaptive mode.."
I would think that leveraging individual and group tacit knowledge in a direct way offers a tremendous win-win situation. Communication has never hurt anyone, so let's keep on practicing.
