I appologize for responding prior to reading the
entire string of messages, but I got excited
over the message posted by Yogesh Malhotra
on August 07 which is the most comprehensive summation of what is sought in both human
resource and (by inference) job task I've ever
seen. One item I see missing, and perhaps
compelling, is the staff associated with this
position. Generally, I've witnessed that this
position has minimal to no direct staff. Instead,
this position must garner the assistance of
people throughout the whole organization to
fulfill directives. I'm not confident enough to
stand behind my writing human resource
objectives, but here is my shot at adding another
bullet point to Malhotra's profile:
* The person must be able to illicit cooperative
fulfillment of strategic needs and organizational
goals from individuals of all departments,
especially from groups with non-contiguous
reporting-lines.
