Hi,
still doing my thesis I thought about the link between Innovation and KM. One message (forgot which one) emphasized that there are two basic focuses. KM with the goal: innovation (by connecting people) and one with the goal: efficiency (by sharing explicit knowledge). I m sure there is more than these two, but this is not the subject of my message.
There exactly is the link between INnovation and KM ? Are there researches if Innovation is generated through discussion and dialogue, like often is claimed ? I think most of the literature of KM lacks of such explanation or is just to philosophic. And would it mean, that explicit knowledge is useless for innovation ? I can't believe this.
So, how to foster innovation through KM and how to explain that process of innovation through KM?
Anyone has some ideas ?
Greetings, Yalvora
