Dear Pramod,
Question raised by you in tapping potential of employees is an universal one and continues to bug the minds of businesspersons and academia. One possible way could be first to understand the process of knowledge sharing within the context of knowledge users and channel providers. Sometimes these groups remain isolated or there is a difference in perception. Often the channel provider do not understand fully the need of interested knowledge users. Similarly the knowledge users may not understand the limits of means to knowledge. The motivational and behavioural aspect adds yet another dimention. Ignoring the latter, there appears a need for understanding processes in order to enhance use of knowledge in an organization.
