A few days ago I read the article "What's your strategy for managing knowledge" from morten t. Hansen ...
They emphasize that there are two main strategies: Personalization that means in short terms transfering knowledge person-to-person. and second codification strategy that means codifying, storing and reusing knowledge e.g. in databases.
But they also write that you should not straddle these two approaches, because you could fail in both. I dont understand this, because to invest or to engage in both should be a good strategy. What's your opinion to these two strategies and the distinction ?
