This field is vast, but at a higher level the fact
ors that help to maintain Continuous Improvement
within IS are few common sensical factors.

Most of the continuous improvement items in IS are
extensions of similar implementations in other fields.

If you are up to date on theories of Deming,
process reengineering, 360 degrees feedback,
learning organizations, creative thinking, feedback
based environment, managing traceability in user
requirement implementation... you can assimilate
ideas from disparate fields and create your own
views on creating continuous improvement in IS.

As far as my experience goes, first of all you will
have to understand who you are, what's your personality
as this will guide you to come up with your style
of creating a continuous improvement environment,
of creating learning team environments, of deciding
employers who either align with your thinking or will
be committed behind your initiatives. Without this
all yor efforts will be to no avail.

We can talk for hours, in case you need any specific
help, feel free to call me at (651)312-2813.

Thanks
Sufian :-)
