In software Industry, an organization is divided into departments which excels in a line
of business. There is a lot of technical overlapping amongst the line of businesses, and
sharing of knowledge becomes a very important issue in reducing cycle time, increasing
efficiency of the organization and reducing replication of work. This is problem I plan to investigate, What can an organization do to manage this
enormous amount of knowledge with the empolyees and within individual projects and
use this knowlegde into other projects and departments.Creating databases and having a local network within the organization does help in information
sharing but this is not effective to capture the tactit knowledge...
Thankyou,
Pramod
