Hi
I'm a Masters student at City University, London UK. I'm writing my thesis on IS/IT strategic development. At the moment I'm studying knowledge management and have some questions if there is anyone who can help.
How can knowledge be measured in terms of its use to an organisation and value added investment?
How can a business hope to capture knowledge, especially tacit knowledge? Tacit knowledge is mostly shared through the socialisation process so how is it possible for organsations to capture this?
Knowledge is an individuals interpretation of information. Others may interpret this information differently or not at all. How can knowledge be used by others?
Thanks for any feedback.
Steve
