Hi,
Since it's widely accepted that the magority of business organisations togay are knwoeledge organisations, IC measurement aims to give management the tools to accuratlry (or as close to accurate as possible) access his organisations's store of IC and therefore better manage it's increase or decrease. A proper IC measurement program will also give management (and maybe in the not too distant future investors) a more accurate method of valuing the worth or value of organisations. Company valuation today is done on the bases market value which is determined by the value of the organisation's stock, which everyone knows has no bearing on reality.
