Hello,

Q Are there universal and perpetual truths ouside of the realms of a reduced area of pure maths?

A Some people belief there are, some people belief there are none. Some people have no thoughts about this question at all. I personally belief that there are no universal and perpetual truths but I can't proof that (I even doubt if there are in pure maths, is it not the theorem of Godel, that all axiomatic systems have unprovable assumptions).

Q When knowledge derived from a particular set of context and time continuum is not found to be applicable is it necessarily wrong or is it inappropriate to take it into full consideration?

A If I would answer this with either a yes or a no, that would be inconsistent with my answer on your first question. Serious, in this discussion I tried to show that even the question whether a sentence is true or false, is unanswerable. So I personally wouldn't start trying to find out whether my knowledge is wrong. Of course, even I do make mistakes, make decisions that turn out to be not so smart, do actions that shouldn't have been done, and forget to do (sometimes) what should have been done. So, then it turns out that my knowledge WAS wrong. But then it is to late.

I fully agree with your statement about IT.

Best Regards
Daan de Koning
