Hello Grace,

We are continually helping companies to move into the Knowledge Management era/arena/awareness phase - part of the activities involved is the identification (if no creation) and encouragement of "common interest groups" and the enablement, if not creation, of more effective learning organizations. We haven't experienced insurmountable problems in placing the Learning Organization concept within the realm of Knowledge Management.

So far we have mainly worked with US and mainland European companies with the exception of one atypical company in Scotland and another "excellent" company in England, although people like Annie Brooking might have some interesting local references.

With regard to intuition, logic and correctness, I find that we may hopelessly hope that these things that we have have worked really hard at making tangible remain universal truths even though the world around is in a constant state of flux/change.

Best regards,

Martyn R Jones
