Dear Martyn,
It is logical to suppose that firms who are competing
in a knowledge-driven economy will benefit by bring
'learning organization' and 'knowledge management'
together as i suggested. But will sometimes logic and
intuition be wrong? Because I can't think of many
cases where firms have brought these 2 areas together.
This suggest to me that there must be some real differences
of direction, culture and contribution to the firm. It would then
follow that bringing the two together might not be
so beneficial but damaging to both functions!?
