Hello John,
Certainly does help. My experience with DW and Groupware up until now has been that of "no integration required" or "no interdependence assumed". Maybe this side of DW is actually what some people refer to as the KM aspect of DW (which I can't get to grips with either from a business perspective, technically or ethically) and the distribution of (and access to) data and information stored in the DW.
