Hi,

We all (more or less) agree that editing the knowledge
and creating a certain standard for quality of the knowledge is vital.
But it seems to me that the real discussion lies in our role as leaders/mgrs.,
it is our burden to select "good" knowledge from "bad". This role comes to us
simply as our job is to lay down the line for our companies, the way we work, our goals etc.

Knowledge management is not to be used as an invention box for employees, from wich we decide where to
take our company.

It should be used to gather good knowledge from employees on how to solve current problems or the like, but
still within the parameters we set up.

We are given the power to decide and to take our company in any given direction, based on our
skills, one should not hide behind employees knowledge, but only use it to gain the best out
of the money we pay them.

Therefor we are the only ones who can edit their knowledge.

Martin
