Hi,
I believe that creating "the need for information, the will to seek other colleagues knowledge." is a cultural issue. Not a technology issue.
Do the leaders and executives in firms seek out "information" from employees and external sources?
Are they setting a good example? Is it more beneficial to share or horde information in your organization? Do individuals get credit for new initiatives or do teams?
Is there time allocated for sharing knowledge? Is the organization preoccupied with increasing efficiency through traditional accounting standards like labour costs or short term earnings increases?
If the boss is not in, no one will be.
Thanks,
John
