I have been following this topic for a while and thanks for putting it all into the correct perspective. The problem here Dr Chong is it is a matter of differing perspectives, the vast majority of forumers in the this discussion are Western educated and probaly confined to one language of communication i.e English. This in it'self accounts for the myopic slant of the whole topic pertaining to the issue of the management of knowledge.
As an observer I am inclined to believe the perception of what we consider to be knowledge is one that first requires detailed clarification. When the Chinese language in it'self contains 250 spectrums of the term joy, each differing from the other to such a degree that they may be considered independent and unique, it brings home the complexity of what knowledge is.
My friend as your great philosopher Loa Tzu once said when he was confronted with the great void,
" I have arrived"
Thank you for enlightening me as always and from the Toyota 6-90 team,
"See u in January"
