There seems to be an idea going on that knowledge is something you can take out of a persons head and put on a piece of paper. You cannot do that !!!
I dont understand the discussions that is mostly going on here, for it seems that most of the people participating are off track.
You talk about knowledge management systems and strategies as if it was something you just went down to the supermarket and purchased with your bread and butter.
Lets call these systems and management hypes by their real names, cant we ?. It is not knowledge management, it is Bussiness Intelligence, and nothing more.
Knowledge management can only take place in the individual human mind.
There is no meaning or point in discussing "Knowledge Management" for there is no such thing!.
