What is the role of the Information
manager in Knowledge Management? I am
currently investigating this subject
and would like to hear from anyone who
has a view point. I am investigating the
different skill sets required for each
role within a variety of organisational
environments. I am also looking at the
problems faced by Information managers
in KM are they cultural or technological
Also the solutions that IM's provide to overcome these problems. This is all
to ultimately pose the question do
information managers have a role to
play in the knowledge environment,
if so what is it?
I would be grateful if anyone felt like
responding.
