Yosef,
It is difficult to suggest knowledge related opportunities without experiencing your organization. Here are some general ideas:
1) Seek a dialog with ALL your stakeholders. This is an opportunity to co-design the future, seek feedback and to reamin in sync. with your market.
2) Take a good look at your knowledge practices (sharing, structuring, discovery, learning, inquiry, reflection) focus on ways to improve feedback, critique, capture learnings and share insights.
3) Study your information objects, look for ways to increase meaning, utilize diversity, draw people into the events.
4) Focus on how you generate knowledge knowledge. Do you have sufficient, stroong, well-maintained, reciprocal relationships with the people that matter and are you in a position to gather the new insights that come from outside?
5) Study how you share knowledge about grant processes, where can you implement learning points, how can you open cummincations, what can you do to make the process more user driven and sel-help like?Don has a good point when he says you have to discover much of this for yourself, as each organization has its own special constraints, its leverage points and its own culture to change. We have found interACTions to be a great way to shorten knowledge mapping and to build intrinsic motivation through co-design.
