mmm, interesting. Aren't you stating a best practice here yourself ("Avoid Best Practices")?

In my opinion one shouldn't focus on what to do or what not to do, but on what to take into account BEFORE acting. So my "Best Principles" relate to the thought-process before acting.

If after careful consideration the best approach you can think of matches the best practice, shouldn't I act on it?

I believe there might be a fundamental difference as the brain is incapable of understanding negations (Don't think of a house). So pointing out these "Best Principles" may provide a guideline for dealing with the context at hand, while still being in line with contingency management (there is no best way to organize).

I beleive this approach also sticks to the essence of your view, am I correct?
