Hi Laurence,

your question deserves an elaborate answer, which seems to be very indicative of the situation. It needs this elaborate answer to make sure I get the right view/feeling across. However this puts me in exact the same position as what our KTC's try to avoid, so I will just use it as an example:

- adding more context without interactive communication means adding more information
- more information always implies leaving other information out
- which leads to more ambiguity about the information that IS given
- which leads to more questions
- which leads to more context/information being added, etc.

Our KTC's shortcircuit this spiral being an intermediator focusing on establishing interactive communication between seekers and providers based on a minimum of information. Their competence/experience is in knowing what this necessary minimum is, in knowing who knows what and knowing where and how to reach them.

Thus this more or less answer your question? If not maybe we need to communicate via other, more interactive channels. One-on-one email might just do the trick...
