Kees, I agree, and in fact I'd like to hear more about how your KTCs work. We're working on a different (I think?)concept to produce no doubt similiar results.

We are developing a system (and I don't just mean technology) to 'link' or 'connect' people to people and people to knowledge. The organisation spends millions on managing knowldge as documents, but has no effective system to connect people and encourage knowledge sharing. Now don't mis-understand, we have over 100 communities of practice, many of them thriving and successful.

But there is no single, effective, efficient way to find out;
'What is the best way to do ths?'
'who has done this before?'
'who else is working on this?'
'where are they, how do I contact them?'
'what are the lessons learned?' etc.

Later I'll post a 'concept paper' as I'd like your feedback, meanwhile, please give us more detail about your KTCs.

Laurence.
