KM processes are modelled after knowledge architecture. So the preliminary step is to create a corporate knowledge architecture, depicting knowledge flow, and model the KM process after this.
Now, the knowledge architecture (KA) can include information and data. In fact, it has to, in order to completely depict the flow of knowledge. I'm beginning to think that the terms 'info' and 'data' are merely redescriptions of 'knowledge', taken in a different context. Much like 'water' and 'ice' or 'snow', its all H20 albeit in different forms.
