While disagreeing with Knowledge Management as anticipation of surprise, you seem to be disagreeing with the emerging paradigm of Strategy as “anticipation of surprise” as noted by Steve Kerr in Planning Review (?). However, you seem to be of to some interesting hypotheses and conclusions.Your remaining comments don’t seem to elaborate further about your disagreement with Steve Kerr, myself and others who are attempting to understand KM from the perspective of the “New Word of Business.” In fact, one may conversely argue that your assertions seem to support the school of thought based around “anticipation of surprise.” Perhaps, some elaboration about your disagreement would help us know more about your interesting line of thought.
