There three important aspects in sharing knowledge and best practices: Flexibility, Integration and Adaptivity. These characteristics need to be considered in each phase of the Knowledge Management process: Acquisition, Representation and Reuse.
Here I define some important elements that should help you developing a corporate approach for Knowledge Management and Sharing Best Practices:
- Understand the business needs and relationships models,
- Develop an strategic plan of what are the knowledge needs of the corporation and what is the technology architecture to support knowledge sharing and knowledge creation.
- Facilitate communication and help top management overcome the organizational and technical obstacles.
