Hi Mike,
I like your clear, straightforward way you developed a comprehensive, integrated approach to your KM efforts. I particularly like the idea of clarifying what you want your organization to `look like' in three years in terms of its capabilities. This sounds very much like a KM vision that you have developed for your organization. That makes so much sense. It is always the best starting point for strategy.
Mike, you expressed your milestones in terms of capabilities. Is that similar to core competencies or is that something else? You also didn't mention where business strategy comes into play in your scheme of things. Did you start with the business strategy, or was the KM effort seen as something separate? I guess what I would like to hear from you is how you linked business strategy, KM vision, and capabilties together. Thanks for your contribution. Sounds as if you're making great headway!
