There are many engineering companies which are knowledge-based. They range from phamerchutical, petrochemical, Computer to automobile engineering companies.
IBM is one of them within the computer industry. Many companies pratice and implement knowledge management.
They may not be 100% knowledge-based. However, they are very aggressively drive knowledge management within the company.
