Mark,

Thanks for the kind words.

You mentioned:

From a personal constructivist perspective, may I suggest that we are still in the process of understanding one another's 'system of personal constructs': we find similarities on some issues and contrasts on other issues... If we had the same framework to begin with, we might have agreed on everything, and that wouldn't have furthered dialog. Both of us have our individual assumptive frameworks, based on which we are trying to reconcile the differences, _as we observe/perceive them_. We can catch up on this thread after the AOM meeting. May I suggest if the thread is buried deep, you may start a new thread on the top and [may] refer to the old thread by stating the URL of the specific message, the message input form allows the use of HTML code.

The Academy Saturday morning session with Levinson, Weick and Peterson is one which I wouldn't have liked to miss, however all day Saturday, I'll be tied up in the TIM/OCIS doctoral consortium for invited participants. I'd like to catch up with you after AoM and would appreciate if you could share copies of any session materials. Incidentally, some work that I have been doing is building upon the theories of personal construction developed by George Kelly, who was one of Weick's professors [as noted by one of my dissertation committee members at Pitt.] There is also a section of @BRINT web site that focuses on this theoretical base: it is accessible at:
