The act of starting KM - and the measurement of an individual's
knowledge can be seen as very threatening by employees.
Especially in a company that has been recently 're-engineered'
as the one my project is based on. Morale is already low, and
suspicion of managerial plots to fire more people (even though
no more are planned) is probably quite high. We've all been talking about how to perform KM in an org.but how
does someone actually introduce KM as a concept and as a system?
I would appreciate it if anyone has any reccomended reading for preparing a company
for KM (specifically measuring human-centered assets). I would be
especially interested in anyone able to give me examples of how it
was achieved in other companies.
