I have to agree with Paula. I am a novice in this field (sorry) having come from a training background. However the one factor about all knowledge management systems which is overlooked in the main is the employee who must utilise the system. You cannot force staff to use or contribute - I have heard of cases of staff actually sabotaging systems! Motivation and coaching/training are for me the biggest issues.
